Trader Jacques

Thanks to Trader Joe's, we don't need to go to a patisserie in Paris, or even leave the house to have freshly baked croissants.

  1. They look delicious!! I'll have to pick some up the next time I stop at TJ's.

  2. Wha? Are they pre-rolled and everything? Must get them.

  3. The croissants come frozen and you have to leave them out overnight to rise. In the morning you'll see they've puffed up 3x the size! Then brush them with a beaten egg, and pop them in the oven for 15 min--Voila! TJ's also makes chocolate croissants.

  4. I bought some today at TJ's but in the bread department. Didn't know these came frozen. Will have to go back and buy the right ones.

  5. Rachel & Fab love the ones from the bakery section warmed up in the toaster- so it's a win-win!

  6. Yep, I confirm that if you put the one from the bakery section in the toaster oven it will come out really good too! But I would buy the frozen one too so you can decide which one is your fave!
